Scope and who is responsible

This notice explains how Glotech Digitals handles personal information collected through its public website, project enquiries and related business communications. It does not automatically apply to independently operated products or future Glotech Cloud services; those services will have their own notices when launched. Glotech Digitals is the contact point for privacy questions about this website.

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we may collect your name, contact details, organisation, country or region, project category, selected budget range, project description and any information you voluntarily include. If you become a client, we may also handle project correspondence, contracts, billing information, delivery records and authorised contact details. We may receive limited technical information needed for website operation, fraud prevention and security.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, assess project requirements, arrange Discovery, prepare proposals, administer accepted projects, provide support, maintain business records, protect our systems and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to unrelated marketing. If we introduce optional marketing communications, we will provide appropriate choice and unsubscribe controls.

Lawful grounds for processing

Depending on the activity, our grounds may include taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, or consent where required. For example, we use enquiry details to respond to the request you sent; contractual records are processed to deliver agreed services; and security logs may be used to protect our systems.

Regional budget selection

The enquiry form may use country-level network geolocation to show a relevant NGN or USD budget range. If automatic detection fails, the form may request a country selection. The budget range and relevant country or region may be included in the enquiry record. The public form does not need to display a raw IP address for this purpose. Hosting and security providers may nevertheless process IP addresses in their own operational logs.

AI-assisted operations

We may use AI-assisted tools to help organise enquiries, draft internal summaries, prepare project documentation or support delivery. Access should be limited to what is necessary for the task, with human oversight for consequential decisions. We do not promise that every third-party AI service is used for every enquiry. Where a project requires external AI processing of confidential or personal information, its scope, safeguards and applicable arrangements should be agreed before that processing begins.

Who may receive information

Authorised Glotech personnel and carefully selected providers may access information when necessary to operate the website, manage enquiries, host systems, deliver email, process payments or provide agreed services. Providers may include hosting, database, email and payment services. We do not sell enquiry details. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or with your direction or consent.

International processing

Some technology providers may process or store information outside Nigeria. Where an international transfer occurs, we will assess the applicable requirements and use appropriate contractual, organisational or other lawful safeguards. Specific provider locations and transfer arrangements should be verified against the live production configuration before this notice is published.

Retention

We keep enquiry, project, billing and security information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including legitimate follow-up, service delivery, dispute resolution and applicable record-keeping obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. A documented retention schedule and deletion procedure should be confirmed against the internal dashboard and connected services before publication.

Security

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, including access restrictions and security controls appropriate to the systems involved. No website or online service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data incident occurs, we will assess it and make any notifications required by applicable law.

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access to your data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it. You may also raise concerns about qualifying automated decisions and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law permits or requires.

Cookies and analytics

Essential technical storage may be used to make the website function. Optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking should not be introduced without updating this notice and implementing the required choices or consent mechanism. The exact cookies, scripts and providers used on the deployed site must be confirmed before publication.

Third-party links and separate products

Links to client websites, UriBuild, Portioned and other external services take you to sites with their own privacy practices. This notice does not govern their independent data processing.

Contact and complaints

For privacy questions or requests, email hello@glotechdigitals.com and use the subject “Privacy request”. You may also contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you believe your data protection rights have been infringed.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, data-processing practices or legal obligations. When we make changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required by law.
