The right solution depends on the real requirement. These answers explain the boundaries of the service before scoping begins.
Will I own my domain?
A custom domain registered for your business is intended for your benefit and should be held in the client’s name or account wherever practical. A Glotech-managed address such as a byglotech.com subdomain is different: the underlying Glotech domain remains controlled by Glotech and the assigned address is available only while the service remains active.
Can you connect a domain I already own?
Yes. We can connect an existing domain where the required registrar or DNS access is available. Complex recovery, disputed ownership or unusual transfer work may require a separate scope.
What does managed hosting include?
Managed hosting covers the agreed deployment, hosting configuration and essential administration for the selected plan. It does not promise unlimited traffic, storage, support or uninterrupted uptime, and high-traffic requirements may need a different hosting arrangement.
Are domain and hosting fees the same thing?
No. A domain is the web address; hosting is the infrastructure that serves the website. Registration, renewal, hosting and management charges can therefore be separate.
Is business email included with my domain or hosting?
No. Business email is a separate optional service. Glotech Digitals can configure professional email for your domain, while mailbox subscriptions, provider fees and any migration requirements are charged separately where applicable.
What happens if I do not renew?
An expired domain, hosting plan, managed address or mailbox may stop working after the applicable renewal or grace period. Some domains can enter a paid redemption period or become available to others, so renewal approval and payment should be completed on time.
Can I move my website or domain to another provider later?
Yes, where the domain or website is eligible for transfer and provider rules allow it. Transfers can be subject to outstanding balances, registrar restrictions and separately scoped migration work. Glotech-managed addresses are not independently transferable.
What if my website becomes high traffic?
We may recommend moving the site to an appropriate client-owned or separately scoped hosting environment when usage exceeds the practical limits of the managed plan.
Are backups included?
Backup and restoration arrangements depend on the hosting platform and the selected plan. Managed hosting should not be treated as unlimited archival storage or a guaranteed disaster-recovery service unless that is explicitly included in writing.
What happens to a Glotech-managed address if the service ends?
The underlying Glotech domain remains controlled by Glotech. The assigned managed address can be withdrawn when the service ends, so a custom domain is the better long-term option where independent ownership and portability are important.
