HOW IT WORKS

A clear path from idea to working technology.

Every project begins with understanding the problem. From your first enquiry to launch and handover, we make the scope, decisions and next steps clear.

THE DELIVERY JOURNEY

Five stages. One shared understanding.

We don't jump straight from an idea into development. Each stage has a purpose, a clear outcome and a decision about what happens next.

01
START THE CONVERSATION

Enquiry & initial review

Tell us about your business, the problem you want to solve, who will use the solution and what you hope to achieve. You don't need a complete technical specification.

  • Submit your project enquiry.
  • We review the request and may ask follow-up questions.
  • We advise whether the project is suitable for the next stage.
02
UNDERSTAND BEFORE BUILDING

Paid Discovery

For projects that need deeper planning, we agree on a separate paid Discovery engagement. We explore your goals, users, existing workflows, technical considerations and priorities before recommending a solution.

  • Discuss the problem and intended users.
  • Identify essential features, integrations and constraints.
  • Clarify the proposed approach and delivery priorities.
03
AGREE ON THE WORK

Scope, proposal & activation

Following Discovery, where appropriate, we prepare a project proposal that defines the agreed deliverables, assumptions, timeline, pricing and review arrangements. Development begins only after the required agreement and payment conditions are met.

  • Review the proposed scope and milestones.
  • Confirm responsibilities, approvals and change requests.
  • Complete the agreement and initial payment where required.
04
DESIGN, ENGINEER, VERIFY

Build, testing & review

We translate the agreed scope into a working product or digital system. Depending on the project, this can include interface design, software engineering, integrations, content setup, quality checks and staged client reviews.

  • Build against the agreed requirements.
  • Share planned checkpoints for feedback and approvals.
  • Test functionality and address issues within the agreed scope.
05
GO LIVE WITH CLARITY

Approval, launch & handover

We complete final checks, confirm approval and prepare the agreed deployment or handover. Where included in your contract, we provide training, documentation or a defined post-launch support period.

  • Review the completed deliverables and sign off.
  • Complete outstanding contractual payments where applicable.
  • Launch or transfer the agreed assets and documentation.
ABOUT DISCOVERY

Good decisions begin before development.

Discovery is a separate paid professional service, not an automatic commitment to a full build. It helps determine whether a proposed solution makes sense and what delivering it would involve.

01 /

What Discovery helps clarify

The problem, intended users, essential features, relevant workflows, integrations, priorities and practical constraints.

02 /

What follows Discovery

Where the project is suitable, we can prepare a defined scope and quotation. You decide whether to proceed with the proposed build.

03 /

How the fee works

The Discovery fee covers the agreed Discovery service. It is separate from, and not automatically credited toward, any subsequent development fee.

WORKING TOGETHER

What makes the process work.

Clear communication and timely decisions help keep delivery focused. Your project agreement will set out the exact responsibilities and review arrangements.

One agreed scope

Requirements and deliverables are documented before development starts.

Visible checkpoints

Reviews and approvals happen at agreed stages, rather than being left until the end.

Managed changes

New requests are assessed for their effect on cost and timing before they are added.

A considered handover

Launch, access, documentation and ongoing support follow the terms agreed for your project.
